Policy, Liability and Agreement

By confirming your registration, you are agreeing to these policies.


Our policies have been created under legal advisement and are similar to those common to elective educational programs and other professional services, in that once a deadline has passed, a program has begun and/or materials have been sent and/or received, there are no refunds or transfers permitted, other than those specified in this document.

CONFIRMATION:  All classes, professional courses and private sessions must be confirmed by payment.  If your payment does not arrive by the agreed date and time and other arrangements have not been made, your reservation is immediately cancelled.  Once your reservation is confirmed by payment you own only the dates, times, and services you have paid for. 

TRANSFER BETWEEN CLASSES:  Transfer between classes will only be permitted if space allows and the dog and handler are suited to that particular group.                                                   

MISSED CLASSES:  If you miss a scheduled class, contact your instructor to find out which exercises you missed.  Practice these exercises at home following your manual and your instructor’s advice, and we will do our best to catch you up during the following class.  A private make-up session can be arranged for a fee of $100 per hour.  

Make-up classes are not available and there will be no refunds for missed classes.  Please make sure your schedule is in order before confirming your reservation. 

EMERGENCY CANCELLATIONS BY STUDENT:  

If cancellation is due to a serious emergency, serious illness or death, the no refund policies still apply, however, other arrangements may be made and replacement classes may be offered at Chantelle’s discretion.  Proof in the form of a legal document such as; doctor’s note, death certificate, police report etc is required.  These documents will be checked for authenticity. 

EMERGENCY CANCELLATIONS BY ACTS OF GOD OR OTHER POWER:  

If cancellation is due to an uncontrollable event such as but not limited to; weather closures, viruses, hydro or furnace malfunction, teacher's vehicle breakdown or illness, the no refund policies still apply, however, other arrangements will be made as needed for replacement classes.  

Why no refunds?

We are different from a tangible product in that we can't just put our services back on the shelf to resell like you would if returning a pair of shoes. Without ample notice, we can't resell your training package and in short, that business model is unsustainable or unsuitable as each lesson (group or private) is tailored to your dog(s). We only have a handful of spots in each class and Sometimes we have a wait list for classes. We trainers need ample amount of time to rearrange our schedules if something doesn’t fall through! We can't very well tell them last minute we don't need them and they're out their wages. Their livelihood depends on us. The reality is that we can keep our rates reasonable by relying on each person to do their part. It's part of our mission to provide expert training at a reasonable cost in our group classes as well as private lessons because it means more dogs and their families lead happy lives together. Thank you for understanding and your cooperation.

Dogs in Class:
All dogs must remain on leash at all times unless instructed otherwise. No dog-dog interaction on the premises unless permission has been granted, this is for the safety of students and dogs.

Unless otherwise specified, all dogs in a group setting must be comfortable and friendly with other dogs and strangers.

At the trainer's discretion, dogs deemed dangerous, aggressive or highly fearful will be removed from class without refund. If you are unsure your dog is an appropriate candidate for group classes, please schedule a private training consult prior to enrollment. Having not met your dog prior to the start of the class, we rely on you for this information. We suggest you read the course information and dog requirements carefully before making your purchase.  

WORKSHOPS/SEMINARS/EVENTS:

Workshops, seminars and other events such as but not limited to, disc, rallyo, agility, nosework competitions or trials, fees are non-refundable. Please make arrangements to attend on the scheduled date and time to get the most from the experience.

CREDIT:

All classes and training services are non-refundable. We are happy to give you a credit for services and this can be transferred to friends or family within our service area and if deemed an appropriate fit.

PHOTOGRAPHY/VIDEOGRAPHY:

All Levels Canine Fitness & Training (ALCFT) Reserves the right to use any photograph/video taken at any class or event, without the expressed written permission of those included within the photograph/video. ALCFT may use the photograph/video in publications or other media material produced, used or contracted by ALCFT including but not limited to: brochures, invitations, books, newspapers, magazines, television, websites, etc.

A person attending a ALCFT event who does not wish to have their image recorded for distribution should make their wishes known in writing to ALCFT.

Any person or organization not affiliated with ALCFT may not use, copy, alter or modify ALCFT photographs, graphics, videography or other, similar reproductions or recordings without the advance written permission of an authorized designee from ALCFT.
